Sydney harbor bridge


The Sydney bridge is a great tourist icon like san Francisco Golden gate bridge, new York statue of liberty, London tower bridge and the Eiffel tower in Paris. Sydney harbor build and opened in March 1932. At this time, this bridge has a nicknamed the “coathanger” it is simply called the “bridge of Sydney”.

The Sydney harbor bridge has a part of clad pylons, there was actually build for show and do not support the great arch which is 530 meters and 1650 feet long and connected with huge hinges, technically Dawes point in the south and milsons point in the north of Sydney.

There was a few hotels which is situated near the harbor bridge of Australia. Hotel like park Hyatt is located at the right of the harbor edge. Other hotels include the Shangri hotel Sydney, quay Grand suites Sydney, and the sable pier one Sydney on the right side of the harbor.

The road and railway track work 59 meter and 194 feet above sea level. Where the golden gate system loops down but the Sydney harbor bridge loops up.

It is the highest point of the Sydney harbor bridge, the arch is 134 meters above from the sea level. The bridge is about 1150 meters mile long, almost 58000 tons of steel are used to the build this international harbor.

Before opening the harbor bridge, the length of buses and cars are depend upon railway and roads. The harbor bridge was design with stand winds of 200 kilometers one hour.

Walkers can cross the Sydney harbor bridge on eastern and western side both. Bridge are build with steel wires and perfectly safe for walkers. They offers great views of Sydney harbor and parramatta river. The eastern side of the bridge are most popular and decorated with rocks and sea animals.
